About Green Riyadh Cooperative

Green Riyadh Cooperative is a cooperative association registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The society aims to promote environmental awareness, protect the environment, and encourage positive behavior across all segments of society. It works to increase green spaces and participate in environmental restoration efforts, in addition to introducing innovative initiatives and establishing model partnerships that contribute to strengthening sustainable practices.

The vegetation cover

The vegetation cover is the green layer that covers the Earth's surface, consisting of a variety of plants such as trees, shrubs, and grasses. The vegetation cover plays an important role in the lives of living organisms by providing oxygen, food, and shelter. Additionally, it helps prevent soil erosion and improves air and water quality.

Environmental Rehabilitation

Environmental rehabilitation is the process of restoring and improving the environment negatively impacted by human activities or natural conditions, through the implementation of a variety of multidimensional measures such as cleaning, renewal, and sustainable improvement, with the aim of preserving biodiversity and enhancing the quality of life for both living organisms and humans alike.
